discusses the differences between the three manuscripts published in Nature April 1953 concerning the structure of DNA.
It is a very clear example of how James Watson and Francis Crick wrote an extremely easy to read one page manuscript whereas Rosalind Franklin and Maurice Wilkins both made much longer and more complex manuscripts. Today almost only the Watson Crick paper is remembered despite that it includes no data (only theory and speculations). All authors wrote longer manuscripts subsequently to add more evidence to their discoveries.
